Cosette Leonie (Bourbonnais) Kosinski, beloved wife of 49 years of Constanty A. Kosinski, Sr, who predeceased her in 2002, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 17, at her home in Holland, MA, at the age of 89. Cosette was born on November 3, 1932, in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Levi M. and Marguerite (Drapeau) Bourbonnais. Cosette was a longtime resident of East Springfield, before residing the past 32 years in Holland. She was raised and educated in Holyoke and graduated from Precious Blood High School in 1950. After graduating from High School, she entered Nursing School at Mercy Hospital, but put Nursing on hold to get married in 1953 and began to raise her family. Cosette returned to Nursing School at Mercy Hospital and later graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1963. She worked for many years in the ER at Mercy Hospital, later at Mercy Pediatric Group, and finished her career, as a Registered Nurse, working in the office of Dr. Ronald Kanagaki. Besides her beloved husband, Constanty, she was also predeceased by her son, Constanty, Jr. in 2010. She is survived by four children, Joseph Kosinski and his wife, Joan of Holland, MA, Margaret McCormick of Enfield, CT, James Kosinski of Holland, MA and Thomas Kosinski and his fiancé Tamera Accorsi of Wilbraham, MA; six adored grandchildren, Joseph Kosinski, Martin Giroux, Jennifer Kennedy, Kara McCormick, Anthony Kosinski and Michael Kosinski and by five great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Monday February 28th, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, followed by an 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home. Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. Memorial donations may be made in Cosette’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
