Connie Kleindienst of Chicopee, MA, was born in South Hadley, MA in 1933 and was raised by Mary M. Elia. She attended Chicopee Schools and graduated from Chicopee High School in 1951. Connie entered Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and Graduated in 1954. Connie worked at the Holyoke Hospital, Providence Hospital, and Mercy Hospital where she retired as a night Supervisor. She also worked at Mt. Holyoke College before retiring for good to spend the winter months in Florida with her husband John Kleindienst, a retired Chicopee Police detective who predeceased her.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Boissonneault and her partner Lianne Lemire of Florida and Debra Tougas and her husband Ron of Chicopee and three grandchildren, Seth Boissonneault and his wife Cassie of Springfield, Zachary Boissonneault of Chicopee and Sarah Guyer and her husband Scott of Chicopee.
She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Wyatt John Guyer and Verona Grey Boissonneault; brother-in-law, Robert Kleindienst and his wife Lynn; sister-in-law, Claire Couture all of Granby, MA; several nieces and nephews, and by two special cousins, Vicki Bridges and husband Ron and Judy St. John and husband Larry, all of Florida. She was predeceased by Edwin and Alice Keyes and Armand Couture. A private funeral service will be held for Connie concluding with burial where she will rest alongside her beloved husband John at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
