CLAYTON C. FLEURY 1930 - 2011 CHICOPEE � Clayton Fleury, 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Clayton was born in Chicopee on December 16, 1930 the son of the late Eleonide and Irene (Gagnon) Fleury. Clayton was educated in Chicopee schools and later joined the United States Marine Corps. Serving during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He was a longtime employee of West Springfield Auto Parts and retired in 1988 after completing 23 years of service. Prior to that, he worked for several years at HAPCO and Roy Motors in Chicopee. Clayton was an accomplished banjo player and was active with the Chicopee Sportsman�s Club as well as being a proud member of the N.R.A. and a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Clayton enjoyed spending time with family and looks forward to �seeing everyone on the other side�. He now joins his beloved wife, Marian F. (Cyran) Fleury who died in 2008 as well as his two daughters, Christine Fleury and Karen Sumowski who welcome him safely home .Clayton is survived by his three sons, John Fleury of Chicopee; Mark Fleury of Chicopee; Steven Fleury of Chicopee; two daughters, Gail Maslak of Chicopee and Nancy Lasante of Chicopee. Clayton will be missed by his seven adored grandchildren and his 4 great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Robert and Leonard Fleury. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 11 AM until 12Noon at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. with a funeral home ceremony at Noon. The burial with military honors will conclude the ceremonies at 1PM at the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001. Please visit
