Clara Labonte

CHICOPEE- Clara (Murray) Labonte, 92, entered into rest and peace on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Willmansette Center West. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Holyoke, one of fifteen children to Joseph and Rosanna (Grenier) Murray and educated in Holyoke Schools. She was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and was an excellent seamstress. She married Aime Labonte in Precious Blood Church and the couple spent many happy years together raising their family before his passing in 2006. She was also predeceased in 2006 by a son and daughter, Jacqueline Labonte and Leonard Labonte. She leaves behind a son, Gerald Labonte and his wife Suzanne of Chicopee; a daughter, Louise Croke and her husband Dr. Frank Croke of South Hadley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and her siblings and their families which include many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 10-12Noon at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 with a funeral home ceremony at 12 noon.
