Claire Richter

CHICOPEE- Claire N. Richter, 95, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Claire was born in Holyoke on November 28, 1916 a daughter of the late John and Mary Louise (Bessette) Fournier and educated in Holyoke Schools. She has been a longtime Chicopee resident and previously worked for over 10 years as an aide at the Holyoke Hospital retiring in 1976. Prior to that she worked for over 10 years with Pat�s Foods. Claire was longtime a communicant of St. Anne�s Church in Fairview. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold E. Richter in 1991. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Courchesne and her husband Roger of Chicopee; Bunny Couch and her husband Ken of North Carolina; 6 adored grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. Claire�s funeral will begin on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 8:45 AM from the funeral home and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Anne�s Church, 30 College St., Chicopee.
