CHICOPEE – Christopher J. “Kit” Shea, 57, of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the presence of his loving family. Born in Holyoke and a life long Chicopee resident, he was the son of the late John P. and Claire (Duval) Shea. Kit was an inspector for the former Springfield Wire Co. and had also worked for the American Bosch. He was a communicant of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. He enjoyed playing billiards, skiing and was an avid sports fan. Kit leaves his wife, Marla Ann (LeBlanc) Shea; a step-son, Matthew Lawrence of Holyoke; (5) step grandchildren, Raven, Savannah, Austin, Lexi and William; and (3) brothers, David Shea, of Cincinnati, OH, Paul Shea of Enfield, CT and Peter Shea of South Hadley. Kit was predeceased by a step son, William R. Table in 2005. Funeral services and burial will be private and held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
