On Saturday, January 8, 2022, Christopher Alan Gordon, beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother passed away unexpectedly at his home in Chicopee at the age of 47.
Chris was born on June 21 1974, in Holyoke, MA. Son of Roger W. Gordon Jr. and Hope (Rosendale) Wood, he was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School.
He was a machine operator for over 13 years at Callaway Golf Co in Chicopee.
Chris had many hobbies and interests including his love of music, playing his electric guitars and drums, a love for motorcycles and fast cars, and he was a talented artist. He had a wonderful sense of humor as well as a strong affection for animals.
Chris leaves behind his loving mother, Hope and her husband, Randy of Ludlow, 3 children, Alyssa Pomeroy of Marrero, LA, Kyle Gordon of Agawam, and Zachary Gordon of Chicopee, 2 grandchildren, Alayah and Elijah Rodriguez of Marrero, LA, 2 sisters, Melissa Lombard and her husband, Michael of Ludlow, and Alicia Kennedy and her husband, Brian of South Hadley, stepbrother, Brian Wood of Southwick, several extended family members, his beloved Puggle companion Sookie, and many friends.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Roger in 2010.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, January 23, for visitation for Chris from 2-5 p.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee.
