Cecile L. (Giroux) Vincelette, a longtime resident of Chicopee, died peacefully at Baystate Medical Center on February 7, 2026.

Cecile was born on May 28, 1941, in Holyoke, MA, a daughter of Henri and Annette (Roy) Giroux.

For many years, Cecile was a financial analyst at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Although she loved gardening, cooking, reading, and the Boston Red Sox, the most important thing in her life was her family.

She leaves behind her partner of 46 years Edward Hart, and her loving children, Catherine Souto and her husband Victor, Christine Morin and John Voelker, and Christopher Vincelette and Kristin Preye; her brother, Paul Giroux and his wife, Margie; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two sons, Paul and Christian Vincelette and by two cherished grandchildren.

All services for Cecile will be private. There are no calling hours.
