CHICOPEE – Cecile Mary Lefebvre Therrien, 102, entered eternal rest and peace on Monday February 28, 2011 at Wingate at South Hadley. Cecile was born in St. Margaret Dorchester, PDQ, Canada on July 22, 1908 a daughter of the late Joseph Faucher and Anna Marie Ferland. Cecile was a longtime resident of Chicopee and she resided from 1978 until 1993 in Sherbrooke, Canada after the passing of her first husband, Antonio Lefebvre who died in 1973. She was a longtime seamstress and dressmaker working for many years at Elco Dress Co in Holyoke. She was a talented seamstress and provided her friends and family with many dresses, Afghans, blouses, shirts and just about anything her family needed. Cecile was also predeceased by her second husband Joseph Therrien in 1993 and her son, Paul Andre Lefebvre who died in 1973. Cecile was a longtime communicant of Nativity Church in Willimansett and was blessed to have spent so much quality time with her devoted and caring family. Cecile is survived by her three sons, Roland and Jean-Paul Lefebvre both of Chicopee; Guy Lefebvre of South Hadley; two daughters, Paulette Dame of Charlestown, SC; Huguette McLaughlin of Stamford, CT; two brothers, Honorius Faucher of Sherbrook, Canada; Louis Faucher of Tedford Mines, Canada; four sisters, Claire Parker of Ottawa, Canada; Yvette Martineau of Beloeil, Canada and Jeannette Lalumiere of Varen, Canada. Cecile was predeceased by six brothers and a sister. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday morning from 9:00AM until 10:15 AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11 AM in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee followed by the burial in Sainte Rose de Lima Cemetery.
