Carl W. Lesik

Chicopee – Carl Wayne Lesik, 81, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday November 9, 2024. Carl was born in Palmer on January 19, 1943, a son of Stanley and Rose (Hemenway) Lesik. He was raised in Chicopee where he attended school and worked locally for many years, retiring from Rexam.
Carl married in 1963 to Theresa (Belisle) and together they raised five children, Annette, Michelle Allen, Lisa and Wayne. Carl had many hobbies as a young man, he would caddie at local golf courses and work the stock car track in New York. He enjoyed bow hunting and fishing with his children, and spending time with his good friends. Most recently you could find him having coffee and fishing at the Chicopee Boat Ramp. He couldn’t wait for spring to fish for stripers in his boat in the river where he caught many keepers.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Theresa, daughter, Michelle and his son, Allen.
He is survived by his daughter, Annette Naginewicz (Bob), Lisa Lesik, Wayne Lesik (Kendra); daughter-in-law, Lisa Lesik; seven grandchildren, Kenny, Josh, Kevin, Tyler, Sarah, Kayla and Allan; three great-grandchildren and Jerry and Carol Tiereny and niece, Kelly.

The family would like to thank the Holyoke VNA and Hospice and extend gratitude to Julie Monette for her loving, compassionate and caring strength. She was there for Carl and his family on his final journey.
Thank you to Dr. Fay, Renee, Theresa and staff for the extraordinary medical care and support given throughout the years of Carl’s and Theresa’s life. All services for Carl will be private for the family. Brunelle Funeral Home in Chicopee, MA is entrusted with the arrangements.
