Brian Patrick Phillips, 60, beloved husband of Nancy (Hale) Phillips, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home in Chicopee.
Brian was born in West Springfield, MA, on March 14, 1964, a son of John and Maryann (Miller) Phillips, he was raised and educated in West Springfield and graduated from West Springfield High School.
Brian was currently employed as a Personal Care Assistant at Orchard Valley at Wilbraham.
He had many hobbies and interests that included hiking, going to the gorge, hanging with his friends and spoiling his grandbabies. Brian also loved playing D&D.
He leaves his beloved wife Nancy of Chicopee, his three stepchildren, Michael Lyons and his daughter, Laci Lyons, Megan Long and her sons, Malakai Baez, Xavier and Brian Montero, all of Springfield, and Justin Long and his daughter, Arixa Long of Midvale, UT, siblings, Diane Dewsnap and her husband, Joe and their children, Mary Carlson and Thomas Troutman, John W. Phillips, Jr and his wife, Susan (Bovat) Phillips and their daughter, Amanda of Feeding Hills, and Richard Phillips and his wife Dawna (Parent) Phillips and their daughter, Jessica Phillips of Deltona, FL, Susanne Phillips and Andrew Phillips both of Jacksonville, FL.
A private funeral service will be held for Brian at a later date.
