Bonny Lee L'Heureux

Bonny Lee (Deforge) L’Heureux, 77, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Westfield Gardens in Westfield.

Bonny was born on October 28, 1948, and was the daughter of Dennis and Dorothy (Clark) Deforge.

She was raised and educated in Holyoke,Ma and was a longtime resident of South Hadley, Ma before residing in Westfield.

Bonny was most recently a retired Certified Nurse’s Assistantfor several years at Brookwood Court, before retiring, and prior to that was a newspaper carrier.

Her many interests included knitting, crocheting, playing Bingo whenever and wherever, shopping on QVC and other favorite places, and watching her favorite gameshows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

She was also an avid reader of romance novels and obtained a love of country music especially for artists that included Alan Jackson and Conway Twitty and many more.

Bonny leaves her loving children, John L’Heureux and his wife, Patricia of Chicopee, Paul L’Heureux and his wife, Brenda of Holyoke, Bettyjean L’Heureux and Jose of Westfield, and Marc L’Heureux and his wife Crystal of Westfield, brothers, David Deforge of Massena, NY and Jerry Deforge of Biloxi, MS, sisters, Melody Masse of Indian Orchard, and Arlene Bear of Chicopee, 14 cherished grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer, Travis, Justin, Joe, Sabrina, Candy, Damien, Noelle, Samantha, Lucynda, Savanah, Melissa, and Kayla, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, Keith L’Heureux, brother Dennis Deforge, sister, Sheryl Deforge, and by her longtime companion, Wendell Roby in 2012.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, Nov. 26, for a period of visitation from 7:45 – 8:30 AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, followed by committal prayers and burial at Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. www.brunellefuneralhome.com
