Blanca Rosa Carranza

BLANCA QUESQUEN CARRANZA 1924 � 2017 LUDLOW- Blanca Rosa Carranza, 92, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Chiclayo, Peru and came to the U.S. in 1977 and settled in Chicopee where she resided for many years before moving to Ludlow in 1997. She worked for many years as an executive secretary for the Peruvian Government. Blanca was a faithful catholic who enjoyed crocheting, sewing and playing the mandolin. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Jorge Carranza, Sr of Ludlow; her three children, Maya Asselin and her husband Robert�of Holyoke; George Carranza and his wife Lilly�of FL; Lillian Cremin and her husband Jerry�of Belchertown; her three grandchildren, Nicole Asselin, Miluska Rivera and Jorge Carranza III as well as three great grandchildren, Bella Vermes, Robbie Koenig and Gabriel Rivera and her brother, Marcelo Quesquen of Lima, Peru. She also leaves her friend and caregiver, Elayne Marte of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins . Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 9:30AM from Brunelle�s and be conclude with a Mass at 11AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
