BLAINE R DUPLISEA 1967 � 2017 SPRINGFIELD- Blaine Duplisea, 50, died unexpectedly on October 28, 2017. He was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on July 23, 1967, a son of the late Glenn and Melva (Jordon) Duplisea. He married Gina (Purdy) Duplisea in 1988. Blaine was a proficient welder, working in construction and manufacturing for over 10 years of his life. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan who enjoyed trips to New Hampshire with his family. He also liked fishing the Swift River and the Quabbin in Belchertown, as well as deep sea fishing in Aruba. He will be fondly remembered by his wife, Gina (Purdy) Duplisea of over 29 years; his son Adam Duplisea and partner Bridget Pedigo of Holyoke; his daughter Shannon (Duplisea) Gumlaw and husband Wesley of Chicopee; six brothers: Robert Jordon of Maine, Glenn Duplisea of Chicopee, Kevin Duplisea and wife Janet of Holyoke, Duane Duplisea of Springfield, Stephen Duplisea of Chicopee, and David Duplisea of Chicopee. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 9-11AM at Brunelle Funeral Home at 811 Chicopee Street with a service at 11AM. The burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee.
