Bernice M. “Bunny” Skorka

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bernice M. “Bunny” Skorka, 88, who died on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Pioneer Valley Health and Rehab in South Hadley, MA. She was born on May 23, 1937, in Holyoke, MA, the only child of the late Stanley J. and Angela M. (McCasland) Skorka. She lived and attended school in Chicopee, MA and was a long-time employee of John Hancock Insurance Co. in Holyoke. Bernice leaves cousins in the McCasland and Skorka families as well as long-time friends in the Menard, Noiseux, and Orchulek families who would like to express their gratitude and thanks for the loving care that Bernice received from the staff at Pioneer Valley Health and Rehab during her long residence there. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 3, 2025, for a calling hour from 9-10 AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Anne Church, 30 College St., Chicopee. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee.
