1934-2020
Chicopee - Bernard J. St. George, 85, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. He was a son of the late Augustine and Eva (Dominque) St. George. He was a graduate of Rosary High School and owner of the former O’Connor Lumber Company in Westfield. Bernie enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette on April 2, 2020. He will be missed by his children; Michelle Laliberte and her husband Gerry of Bradenton, FL, Jennifer Putnam and her husband Al of Chicopee, Gail Lajeunesse and her husband Paul of Westfield, and Bernard G. St. George and his wife Analia of Chicopee. He will also be missed by his 9 adored grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors. Bernie was predeceased by a son, Paul, and his wife Jeanne. He was also predeceased by his three brothers and a sister. His family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Armbrook Village Senior Living in Westfield and Visiting Angels in West Springfield, especially Annie and Elaine, for their care over the past few months. All services for Bernie are private.
