Barbara Ann Sherry

CHICOPEE- Barbara (Fritz) Sherry, 64, passed away on August 27, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, MA on December 10, 1950 a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Glackner) Fritz. She was educated in local schools and was primarily a homemaker. She loved traveling and was an adventure/thrill seeker. She enjoyed traveling via motorcycle, target shooting, skydiving and seeing the great West. She is the beloved wife of over 31 years to James Sherry of Chicopee and mother of Amie Stewart and Tracie Marcil both of Washington. She leaves six grandchildren Bradley Michael, Katielynn, Joshua Ray, Rylee Rnee, Alex Paul, Hunter Fisher, Dakota James; 1 great grandchild, Luna Grace Boyse; three siblings, Thomas Fritz of South Hadley; Beverly Burnell of Hampden; John Fritz Jr of Oregon as well as many loving extended family members and friends most especially her father in law, George Babcock and his wife Eleanor (Arment) of Chicopee; Americo Mendez Sherry and his family of Chicopee; Maurice Marcil and his family Chicopee; Mona Friberg of Easthampton and Margaret Leonard of Florida. Barbara was also predeceased by a brother, Donald Fritz. She will be missed by her cat Gabby and her dog Bandit. All services for Barbara are private.
