CHICOPEE- Barbara (Perron) Jackson, 79, a long time resident of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Holyoke Medical Center. Barbara was born in St.Albens, Vermont on July 3, 1932, daughter of the late Hilda Greenier and Louis Perron. Barbara was a homemaker and took pride in raising her children; she enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family. Barbara was also pre-deceased by her husband Edward Jackson and daughter Suzanne Maziarz. She is survived by her sons; Edward F. Jackson Jr. of South Hadley; Stephen Duval of Maine; Michael Duval of Belchertown; her daughters, Barbara Anne Duval of Missouri; Carol (Duval) Cierpial of South Hadley; and six grandchildren, Alison and Alexandria Jackson; Caleb Duval; Christopher Douillard; Bruce and Derek Cierpial. Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and friends especially her life long friend Lorraine Chandonnet. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11 am in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee MA, 01020. There are no calling hours.
