Armand R. Lamothe

HOLYOKE – Armand R. Lamothe, 89, died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke. He was born in Chicopee on November 28, 1920 to the late Joseph A. and Alice (Bernard) Lamothe. Mr. Lamothe served our country, during WWII in the United States Army. After his discharge, in 1946, he joined the United States Air Force Reserve where he worked as a Machinist for thirty years. Armand was predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy (Huber) Lamothe in 1998. He will be sadly missed by his two brothers, Gerald Lamothe of Dennisport, MA and Harold Lamothe and his wife Germaine of Chicopee; his sister, Helen Bell of Pensacola, FL and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lamothe was also predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dr. Langley Bell, Jr. who died two weeks ago in Florida. All funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
