Arline Lecuyer

CHICOPEE- Arline (Tanguay) Lecuyer, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke on December 2, 1934 a daughter of the late Aurelien and Viola (Remillard) Tanguay and educated in Chicopee Schools. Arline worked for many years at Springfield Photomount retiring in 1998. She later worked for a few years at Everson Candies on Route 202. She was member of the Red Hat and Bosch Travel Group. She enjoyed vacationing with her son and grandchildren on Cape Cod and preparing home cooked meals for them when able. Arline was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years Ernest R. Lecuyer in 2005. She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Lecuyer and his significant other Barbara A. Adamczyk of Chicopee; two adored grandchildren, Justin and Kevin Lecuyer of Feeding Hills and her brother, Raymond Tanguay of Chicopee. She also leaves several dear friends, especially her caring neighbor Paul Bergeron as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her two cats Daisy and Goldie. Visiting hours will be held Thursday (TODAY) April 11, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee MA 01013. The funeral will begin Friday, April 12, 2013 at 8:45AM from the funeral home and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Ann’s Church, 30 College St., Chicopee.
