Antonia “Toni” Louise (Watkevich) Barnack, 92 passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard “Barney” Anthony Barnack and resided in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

She was born on March 27, 1934, in Athol, Massachusetts, and was the daughter of the late Anthony V. Watkevich and the late Marie (Quinn) Watkevich.

After completing her education, she went on to enjoy a long and successful career in office administration. Her love of art was evident in her many beautiful oil paintings. She enjoyed baking festive and creative cakes for family and friends. She was an unwavering source of wisdom and support, the ultimate matriarch of the family who was full of kindness and love. She leaves behind warm memories that will never be forgotten.

In addition to her husband, whom she wed on October 8, 1966, she leaves behind her sons, Christopher Barnack and his wife, Bobbie, of Raymond, NH, David Barnack and his partner, David Moreira, of Springfield, MA, Jeffrey Smith and his wife, Nancy, of Salem, NH. She also leaves her beloved granddaughters, Kaitlyn (Barnack) Kittredge and her husband, Kienan, of New Boston, NH, and Samantha Houghton of Jeffersonville, VT and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Barbara (Viens) Ledger, who was her late son Brian’s significant other for 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Brian Anthony Smith, Michael Smith, and her sister, Gratia (Watkevich) Pariseault.
