Antolina Barreto

Antolina Barreto 1923-2014 CHICOPEE- Antolina (Torres) Barreto, 91, passed away on June 28, 2014 at Willimansett West Nursing Home in Chicopee. She was born on June 9, 1923 to the late Jose Barreto and Victoria Torres in Ciales, Puerto Rico. Antolina married Francisco Tirado and spent many happy years together until his passing in 1978. She was a strong believer of the Catholic Christian faith, always reading her bible and prayer book and singing hymns. Antolina was predeceased by her three sons, Ernesto, Valentin, and Angel Tirado. She is survived by her loving daughter Carmen DeJesus; five grandchildren, Brenda Sanderson, Carmen Place, Jose DeJesus, Edward Tirado, and Kevin Tirado; and five great grandchildren. Services for Antolina will be in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, on Thursday, July 3 beginning at 10:15AM with a funeral home service at 10:30AM, followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Ave, Chicopee.
