Annette L. (Berthiaume) King
1938-2024
Chicopee - Annette Lucille (Berthiaume) King, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 8, 2024, at Mont Marie Nursing and Rehab in Holyoke. She was born January 23, 1938, in Chicopee, MA, one of ten children to Aime and Blandine (Dalpe) Berthiaume who were from St. Hughes, Quebec, Canada. Annette was a lifelong area resident and was employed as a Solderer, for 18 years at K&M Electronics, where she made night vision equipment for our U.S. Troops. Annette retired after 18 years of service. She attended St. Anne's Parish in Chicopee and was a jigsaw puzzle and word searcher aficionado. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard King in 2013 and by her nine siblings, Gerry, Raymond, Ronald, Lucien, Freddy, and George Berthiaume, Cecile Landry, Rose Rivers and Doris Fournier. She leaves her daughter, Linda Radomski and her husband Kenneth of Chicopee, MA; many nieces and nephews and a good friend and neighbor, Carmen "Millie" Palmeri. A birthday Mass will be celebrated for Annette on January 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM and a one-year anniversary Mass will be celebrated August 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM, both at St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee, MA. Burial will be private for the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made in Annette’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Home Office, 225 N.
