Alma C. Menard

Alma C. Menard 1926-2014 CHICOPEE-Alma C. (Robillard) Menard, 88, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2014 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. Alma was born on July 19, 1926 in Holyoke to the late William and Anna Robillard. She was an active member of the former Nativity church in Chicopee and was a member of the Ladies Guild. Alma enjoyed spending time at home working on her craft projects, especially knitting and crochet. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred Menard; a brother William Robillard; and a sister Rita Connors. Alma is survived by a son Robert Menard and his wife Denise of Granby, MA; a daughter Jeanne Feeney of Pembroke, MA; six grandchildren, Matt Pueschel, Wendy Grossman, Amy Gaj, Eric Menard, Rachel Aprea, and Erin Feeney; six great- grandchildren, Kendra and Shane Gaj, Karl and Ruth Grossman, and Ryan and Caden Aprea. She is also survived by one brother Roland Robillard. Services for Alma will be Friday, September 19 beginning with calling hours from 8:30-10AM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St, Chicopee, and burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman St, South Hadley.
