CHICOPEE- Allan R. Madru “Bud” 81 of Chicopee passed away Monday evening at Mercy Hospital with his wife Jacqueline of 61 years at his side. He leaves his two sons; Richard and wife Jill; Clifford and partner Donna and two grandchildren; Melissa Gartman and Clifford Jr. He is survived by his brother Robert Madru also of Chicopee. Allan was a plumber for 30 plus years and retired from Spalding in 1992. He was a devoted Parishioner of St. Mary’s church and a member of the choir and the Men’s club. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visiting hours for Allan will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. His funeral will begin on Friday at 9:45 AM from the Funeral Home and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 Am at St. Anthony’s Church, 56 St. Anthony St., Chicopee. The Burial and Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Rose De Lima cemetery, Olsen St., Chicopee.
