1959-2018
CHICOPEE- Aline Roy, 59, of Chicopee, passed away on March 13, 2018, the day after her birthday, following a brief illness. She was born on March 12, 1959, a daughter of the late Robert and Georgette (Huard) Roy. Aline worked for National Blank Book, Avery Dennison, and Specialty Looseleaf for a total of 40 years, doing everything from training employees to operating forklifts. In her downtime, she enjoyed cooking, frequenting flea markets and tag sales, movies, tigers, and riding her bike. She will be dearly missed by her siblings: Debbie Roy of Hadley, Mike Roy of Chicopee, Sue Papianou of Chicopee, Paul Roy of South Hadley, and Christine Delaney of Wardsboro, VT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee, MA with a funeral home service at 6:30PM. The burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
