Albert A. Leduc

On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Albert A. Leduc, of Chicopee and beloved husband of Vivian (Zabielski) Leduc, who predeceased him, passed away at Holyoke Medical Center at the age of seventy-nine.
Albert was born on December 10, 1942, in Holyoke, MA, a son of Albert H. and Yvette (Dulong) Leduc.
He was raised and educated in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke Trade School in 1961, before residing in Chicopee for more than 30 years.
Albert held a long career that spanned over 40 years, as a machinist and parts assembler at Savage Arms, and worked for the former Merrick Lumber Co. in Holyoke.
He was an avid camper and sportsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, archery and fishing.
Albert is survived by his sister, Theresa-Louise (Leduc) Roberts of South Hadley, brother, Raymond R. Leduc of Chicopee, many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Charles Leduc.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly on Saturday, December 10, at 11 a.m. for Albert’s Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose De Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee. Burial will follow immediately after the Mass at St. Rose De Lima Cemetery, 49 Olsen St., Chicopee. There are no calling hours.
