Adrien Leo Brunelle

CHICOPEE-Adrien L. Brunelle, 98, passed away in his home on July 14, 2014 surrounded by family. Adrien was born on January 31, 1916 to the late William and Adeline (Ray) Brunelle in Winooski, VT. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Adrien worked in construction at JG Roy, Fountaine Brothers, and retired from WJ Quinn in 1981. He was married to the love of his life, Thelma (Bruneau) and they spent many years together. Adrien and Thelma are both parishioners of St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. He was predeceased by his son, Michael F. Brunelle in November 1995. Adrien is survived by his wife, Thelma Brunelle of Chicopee; three sons, Robert Brunelle and his wife Kathleen of Indian Orchard, Larry Brunelle of TN, and Peter Brunelle of Chicopee; eight grandchildren, Lynne Ann, David, Annette, Tina, Steven, Jason, Eric, and Alice; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Adrien will be Friday, July 18 at 10:00AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St, Chicopee. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, 469 Main St, Bennington, VT at 2:00PM on Friday, July 18. There will be no calling hours.
