William James Rogers

Greenfield- William J. Rogers, 65, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Troy, New York on May 23, 1951 a son of the late Georgianna (Malenfant) Burrows and James Rogers. Bill loved working and he spent over 30 years in Agriculture; on Dairy Farms, perennial farms, and maintaining farming equipment. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family especially on long scenic drives, but most of all he will be known for his tinkering with equipment, fixing things and showing friends ways to fix and maintain their equipment. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene (Blair) Rogers; two sons, William J. Rogers Jr. and his wife Corrina of Hartselle, AL; George R. Rogers and his girlfriend Michele Sanders of Ludlow, MA; his daughter, Lisa Jazab and her husband Joshua of South Hadley, MA. He will also be missed by his eight loving grandchildren, a sister Edith Georgianna Mazza of Riverside, CA; an uncle Raymond Malenfant of Greenfield, MA, three step siblings, several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
