Ventris 1967 - 2011 SOMERVILLE � Teresa Jean (Koontz) Ventris, 43, Our beloved Teresa, passed away at Cambridge City Hospital on January 16, 2011 after a 3 year battle with diabetes and kidney failure with her sister Lynn by her side. Terri was born in Rochester, NY on April 12, 1967 and was raised in Holyoke. Terri graduated from Holyoke High School in 1985 and then attended Clemson University. She later moved to Boston where she met her husband\soulmate, Kim Ventris of Norwich, England. Prior to her illness she was employed as an accounting manager at Meetingmaker, Inc as well as other�Boston area businesses. Terri was an avid animal lover and adored her cats: Kim (Princess), Ben, Saffy and Dillon. Terri enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the world with her husband, walking and cycling. Everyone who knew her loved her infectious sense of humor, her amazing smile, and her beautiful red hair. Terri and Kim lived together for 18 years and were married in London in 2005. Terri leaves behind her devoted husband & soulmate�Kim Ventris, her loving parents, Kenneth and Sylvia Koontz of Belchertown, 7 sisters and�brothers: Wanda Cote and husband Jerry, Lynn Koontz,�Kenneth Koontz, Jr. and wife Lea, David Koontz, Tina Buel and husband David, Patricia Liardi and husband Dominic�and Jacqueline Ferrier. She also leaves 9 nieces and nephews and 4 great nephews. "We love you, Terri! You will always be in our hearts and memories". Visiting hours for Terri will be (TODAY) Friday, January 21, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. Her funeral will begin on Saturday at 8:45 AM from Brunelle�s and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Cross Church, 1 Holy Cross Ave., Holyoke. The burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.
