Rosemary Deborah Covell

CHICOPEE- Rosemary �Deborah� Covell, 64, passed away suddenly at Baystate Medical Center on November 23, 2014. Deborah was born on April 30, 1950 to Shirley (Tourigny) Demers and the late Albert Demers in Holyoke. She worked at Mass Mutual Insurance for many years. Deborah loved life and being with her family and friends. She was also a caring person who looked for ways to help others, and exhibited a great sense of humor that caused all those around her to laugh, both with her and at her. �Debbie� also enjoyed traveling with her friends, and most recently took a bus trip to Missouri. She was also an avid Red Sox fan. Deborah was survived by her mother, Shirley Demers of Chicopee; three sisters: Dolores Scott and her husband Allen of Millsboro, DE, Kassie McCormick of Denver, CO, and Patricia Ames of Chicopee; two nephews, Christopher Ames and his wife Theresa, and Joseph Heckman and his wife Sarah; one niece, Jennifer Mifflin and her husband Larry; two grandnephews, Damian and Brett Russell; and one grandniece, Sarah Ames. Calling hours will be Friday, November 28 from 4-7PM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 10AM, followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.
