NICOLE J. MARSOLAIS 1952 - 2009 CHICOPEE - Nicole J. �Nikki� Marsolais, 56, passed away at home surrounded by the loving embrace of her family on Saturday, February 7, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Canada on July 25, 1952. She was the daughter of Fernand and the late Lillian (Charbonneau) Marsolais. Since the age of three, she made her home in Chicopee. She attended the public school system, then went on to attend UMass culinary school. She worked for Sunshine Village, Burger King and Sarawood Retirement Home. She leaves behind her sister, whom she lived with for the last 28 years, Francoise Peloquin, niece Valerie Peloquin Gibney and Melissa Gibney, and great niece Olivia Peloquin. She also leaves sisters Ginette Thibodeau and niece Jessica, Theresa and John Landry and family, and brother Rejean and Eileen Marsolais. She also leaves behind her fiance John Trombly and her beloved dogs, Sierra and Abbey, and her many friends. Her passions in life were her dogs, dogs, and more dogs. She loves all dogs, she loved to cook and spend time with family and friends. She loved spending time at the beach feeding the seagulls and she was deeply spiritual. We greatly appreciate all the loving care Baystate Hospice provided, especially her nurse Laurie and chaplain Carole. Donations in Nicole�s memory can be made to T J O�Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center Foundation and Baystate Hospice. Services will be private.
