Michael Norman Parmelee

Michael N. Parmelee 1954 � 2009 CHICOPEE � Michael N. Parmelee, 54, died July 22, 2009 at Boston Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on November 24, 1954 to the late Norman and Marion (Rogers) Parmelee. Michael attended Chicopee Comprehensive High School. He loved his job as a Welder with Waste Management in Hampton, N.H. He said he had the best bosses and greatest crew he has ever worked with. Mike enjoyed playing his acoustic guitar and restoring vintage Harley Davidsons. Michael will be greatly missed by his three sisters, Lois Luczai of N. Ferrisburg, VT, Linda Carmichael of Grafton, MA and Janice Parmelee of Chicopee; his nieces, Amy Murray and her husband Peter and Laura Fein and her husband Larry; his nephews, Christopher Luczai and his wife Susan and James Carmichael and his wife Beth. Mike will also be sadly missed by several cousins including Dana Moreau and many longtime friends including Ray and Kitty, Karen, Ken, Ellen; all of his coworkers and his African Grey parrot Mikey, all of whom he loved very much. There will be a Service of Remembrance on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will precede the Service on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mike�s memory, to a charity of one�s choice.
