Marjorie M. Nickerson 1930 � 2010 NORTHAMPTON � Marjorie M. (Olson) Nickerson, 79, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at Overlook Nursing Home. She was born on November 12, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Andrew G. and Martha (Okeson) Olson. Marjorie attended schools in Minneapolis, where she graduated from High School. She also attended beauty school and did some modeling before moving to Western Massachusetts. Marjorie was a longtime resident of Westfield. She worked at Rex Nord, formerly Rex Chain Belt, where she retired in 1992 after twenty years of service. Marjorie truly enjoyed collecting dolls, coins, plates and knickknacks. Marjorie was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph Nickerson, on January 17, 1980 after over twenty five years of marriage. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Greg L. Nickerson and his wife Lori of Coosbay, OR; her three daughters, Roxanne C. Wiese of Chicopee, Sherry L. Arnold and her husband Jeffrey of Warren, MA and Kerri L. Stone and her husband Ted of Westfield; her sister, Amy Cary of Ottertail, MN; her eleven grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, J.J., Danny, Jennifer, James, Gregory, Kate, Sara, Tiffany and Austin; her great grandchild, Emma and one great grandchild on the way. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Beside her parents and her husband, Marjorie was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Wiese; her three brothers, Rodney, Morrie, and Donald Olson and her brother-in-law, Donovan �Bus� Cary. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
