Karen Charrington

January 17, 1950 - January 4, 2017

Chicopee- Karen Charrington, 66, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017. She is the daughter of Irene (Daudelin) Chagnon of Chicopee and the late Gerald Chagnon. Karen worked for Sunshine Village for several years and enjoyed working with several area companies. Karen was an accomplished runner with Special Olympics as well as having a love of biking, drawing, and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her and were touched by her beautiful spirit. She is survived by her two brothers; Neal Chagnon of Wilbraham; Michael Chagnon and his wife Lori of W. Springfield; her nieces and nephews, April, Lydia, Nicholas, and Alexander and many dear friends and loving caregivers. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning January 11, 2017 from 10AM-11:45AM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, Chicopee with a funeral home service at 11:45AM. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.
