Jeannette Langlais

CHICOPEE- Jeannette (Lamoureux) Langlais, 85, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 20, 2013 at Holyoke Health Care Center. She was born in Holyoke on Dec. 17, 1927 a daughter of the late Emil and Marie (Degraffe) Lamoureux. She was a longtime seamstress for Totsy Mfg. and was active for many years at the Chicopee Moose Lodge #1849. As a Woman of the Moose, she was a College of the Regents and enjoyed helping with any and all activities at the lodge. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Adelard R. Langlais in 1986 and also joins her grandsons; Bruce King Jr., Jeremy Delphia and her brother William Lamoureux. She is survived by her children, David Smith and his wife Patricia of Granby; Janie Silva and her husband Reinaldo of Poinciana, FL; Richard Smith of Holyoke; Christine Rivet and her husband Kenneth of Springfield; Raymond Smith and his girlfriend Susan Linzi of Chicopee; her brother, Donald Lamoureux and his wife Rita of Chicopee; 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Reinaldo Jr., Amy and William; 4 great grandchildren, Reyvon, Jocelyn, Gabriella and Hayden; her sister in law, Helen Lamoureux of Chicopee as well as several step children and nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her beloved pet �Buckwheat� the cat. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 from 9-11AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, Chicopee and followed by a funeral home service at 11AM. The burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
