Gladys M. Laliberte 1939 � 2009 CHICOPEE � Gladys M. (Sicard) Laliberte, 69, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke on December 12, 1939 to the late Louis and Stella (Talbot) Sicard. Gladys attended schools in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee High School in 1957. She worked at the former American Electric Cable and A.G. Spaulding. Gladys was a parishioner of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee. Mrs. Laliberte was predeceased by her former husband James E. Laliberte on June 14, 2008. Gladys leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Thomas J. Laliberte and Joseph R. Laliberte both of Chicopee; her four daughters, Debra A. Talbot and her husband Gerard of Chicopee, Michele M. Spear of Rockport, MA, Cherie A. Laliberte of Indian Orchard and Toni A. Laliberte of Chicopee; her twelve grandchildren and her six great grandchildren. Mrs. Laliberte was predeceased by her grandson, Eric A. Talbot; her granddaughter Caitlyn M. Plumadore and her two brothers. A funeral procession will form Friday March 6, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made, in Gladys�s memory, to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
