    George Rudzik

    March 27, 1926 - February 8, 2015

    CHICOPEE-George E. Rudzik, 88, passed away on February 8, 2015 at Holyoke Medical Center. George was born on March 27 1926 to the late Walter and Sophia (Kieltyka) Rudzik. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII for the 761st Tank Destroyer Battalion. George moved to Chicopee after the Army and married the late Claire Szafran. He earned his Bachelor�s degree in History and Science at American International College, and taught Jr. High School History in Hatfield. George later worked for Raytheon Company as an engineer. In his spare time, he collected records and audio files of Big Band Music. George is survived by his son, Keith Rudzik; his daughter Debbora Fuchs; and three grandchildren, Jeremy, Noah, and Benjamin. Services for George will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holyoke Soldier�s Home, Recreation Fund, 110 Cherry St, Holyoke, MA 01040. For additional information, please visit www.brunellefuneralhome.com.
