George Larose

GRANBY- George Larose, 86, passed away on September 8, 2016. He was born in St.Cesaire, Canada on November 29, 1929 a son of the late Lucien and Florina (Boucher) Larose. He was a carpenter for Daniel O�Connell and Son Construction for several years and later worked for Leelyn Plastic. George loved working, he could fix just about anything, in his spare time he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and children. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Priscille (Brunelle) Larose of Granby; Francine Sadler of Granby; Sylvie Lamoureux and her husband Richard of Granby; Jacques Larose of Chicopee; Linda Larose of Berlin, NY; Norma Lamoureux and her husband Robert of Granby. He will also be missed by his 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 Brothers, 5 sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by a grandson, a sister, and 2 brothers. Life celebration hours will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 8:30AM from Brunelle�s followed by the Mass at 10AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 256 State St., Granby, MA 01033. The burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George�s name can be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
