FRANK J. RODA, JR.1933 � 2013HOLYOKE- Frank �Natale� Roda, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully at the Holyoke Health Care Facility on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Frank was born in Holyoke on April 24, 1933 a son of the late Natale Frank Sr. and Corinne M. (Brisson) Roda and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Frank worked for Williams Distributing of Chicopee for over 32 years as a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army on active duty from 1953 � 1955 and completed eight years of service in the Army Reserve. Frank was an avid bowler at the Bowl-O-Drome (Fun Time Lanes) of Holyoke in the Sunday Nite Social League. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Janet (Lacroix) Duval Roda of Holyoke; three daughters, Theresa Houle of Holyoke; Mary Helmick and her husband Nelson of Sneedville, TN; Lisa Roda of MA; five sons, Andy Duval of West Springfield; Robert Duval of Springfield; Frank Duval of VA; John Duval of Huntington, MA; Michael Roda of MA; two brothers, Paul Roda of Chicopee; Thomas Roda of Agawam; a sister, Mary Roy of Chicopee; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.He was predeceased by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Anthony Roda, James Roda, John Roda, Antoinette LaFleur and Katherine Romanowicz. Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 21, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. A funeral service with military honors will be held on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at 1 PM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
