Evelyn R. Robert 1944-2011 CHICOPEE- Evelyn Rose (Cutler) Robert, 67, a longtime resident of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on February 18, 1944, in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Gilford and Rita (Dupuis) Cutler. Evelyn was a homemaker and took pride in raising her children; she enjoyed crocheting, reading, baking, playing Pogo online with her internet friends and spending time with family. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 25 years, Dennis F. Robert of Chicopee. She leaves a son; William F. Murray and his wife Lizabeth of Palmer, MA; two daughters; Laura and her husband Socrates Phelan and Dena Murray of Chicopee. Evelyn also leaves a brother Robert Cutler of FL; two sisters; Eleanor Bedard and Pamela Fuller both of FL; her five grandchildren; Nicole Boren; Jeffery and Danielle Phelan; Amber Murray; Corey Daviau; and her five adored great-grandchildren; Timothy, Trent and Zachary Boren; Noah Murray and Emma Rose Daviau. She also leaves her extended family and friends. Evelyn was predeceased by a brother; Gilford Cutler and a sister; Rhea Cousineau. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a funeral home ceremony at 6:30 PM in Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. The Rite of Committal and Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM in West Street Cemetery, West and Kellog Street, Granby MA.
