EMILIA R. KALAT 1923 -2012 HOLYOKE- Emilia Regina Kalat, 89, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born to the late Frank and Regina (Sarna) Kalat. Emilia was a life long resident of Chicopee, MA where she grew up and was educated. She was a Time Keeper at Springfield Photomount and retired after 42 years of dedicated service. Emilia is survived by her nephew, Frederick Kalat, grand niece, Regina Lynn Kalat, great grand nephew, Justin Kalat, great friends, Tom and Francine Beattie of Williamsburg; Kenneth and Diana Ethier of Pittsfield and Maryann Machnick of Chicopee, MA. She was also predeceased by her longtime companion of 28 years Denis Ethier and her brother Joseph Kalat. A visiting hour will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
